Node JS Technical Lead

You will be part of our rapidly growing Adobe Commerce practice helping to shape and deliver the right outcomes for our clients. As a Technical Lead at Tryzens, this individual is responsible for developing and overseeing the Node JS development for eCommerce projects, specifically focused on using the latest technologies and practices to ensure the delivery of themes and packages of the highest quality.

The core responsibilities are:

Development of client solutions

• Participate in the discovery phase and provide an estimation of the business requirements.
• Planning and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project execution as per technical and functional specifications.
• Design, Develop and modify features for Node JS Application.
• Interact with the business and other technology teams.
• Participating in and leading unit testing and code review sessions to identify potential project bottlenecks and suggest solutions.
• Engagement in technical design discussions, requirement analysis, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Node JS software applications.
• Providing hands-on support in Node JS software/application architecture, development, design, independent analysis, and problem resolution.
• Communicating with client business to fully understand client expectations.
• Ensure that features are being delivered efficiently and on-time
• Effectively troubleshoot production issues
• Follow the latest advancements in back-end technologies and techniques
• Continue to expand knowledge of new technologies, as well as strengthen the current knowledge base
• Train and integrate new team members and proactively support the continued
development of existing team members.
• Build and promote a positive working environment for the team.
• Effectively work with team members in line with company policy and procedures,
including performance, development, disciplinary and conflict resolution with
effective feedback
• Excellent communication skills

Commercial

• Supporting Presales during the development of new business with new or existing clients

Participate in recruitment activities where necessary

Requirements:
Essential Skills & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Team player with excellent collaboration skills, with a fantastic can-do attitude.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience developing on the Node JS framework including:
• Good experience with the MEAN stack and the application architecture MVC would be a plus
• Good knowledge of HTML, Stylesheets (CSS3, SASS), and Cross-browser development (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)
• Proficiency in NodeJS microservices

• Proven ability to work effectively with team members as well as various stakeholders within the company
• Proficient in using version control (GIT), JIRA, Web Developer Tools (e.g., Chrome, Firebug
• Familiar with Confluence, MS Outlook, Word, Excel
• Overall, 7 to 12 plus years of IT experience.
• General experience working with e-commerce systems is a plus
• Experience with Shopify and Shopify plus
• Experience in React JS, Angular
• Experience in Node JS integration with Shopify sites.

• Very good knowledge and strong skills in developing Node JS application
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL systems
• Good experience with REST APIs implementation

• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks
• Experience in Agile Scrum
