At EdgeUno, we are looking for an enthusiastic NOC Intern to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team and start building a successful career in network engineering and infrastructure. Based in our Quito office, you’ll work side by side with Subject Matter Experts who are leaders in the telecommunications and technology industry across Latin America.

This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience monitoring and supporting real-world network operations, learning the fundamentals of troubleshooting, configuration, and support in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Core Responsibilities:

Monitor network devices and systems using tools like Zabbix, LibreNMS, and Grafana.

Support troubleshooting efforts with guidance from engineers to identify and resolve customer issues.

Assist the Network Engineering Team with configurations and system updates.

Stay up to date with the training path and learning opportunities provided by experienced professionals.

Contribute to special projects in areas such as NOC, SRE, and Cloud.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Telecommunications, Networking, or a related technical field.

Fluent English (mandatory).

Demonstrated interest in networking through coursework, personal projects, internships, or technical competitions.

Desire to pursue a career in Network Engineering or Infrastructure.

Basic understanding of networking concepts and coding formats.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-growing startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of monitoring systems (Zabbix, LibreNMS, Grafana) is a plus.

Portuguese language skills are a plus.
