NOC Engineer (Level 1)

Job Summary:

The Network Operations Engineer, based in Algosystems in Athens Greece, will be part of our Operation Center team.

What You Will Do:

The candidate will be responsible for providing proactive first fix and after-sales support to our customers. The candidate will be part of the first-line operation team and will comply with defined operational procedures. This role includes 24/7 shift coverage.

Reporting to the Head of Client Operations.

Requirements:
Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and proactively analyze network performance using advanced monitoring tools, ensuring uninterrupted service.
• Investigate and resolve network incidents and outages, prioritizing rapid response and root cause identification.
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and fast resolution of technical issues.
• Participate in network upgrades and configuration changes, working closely with engineering and support teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network infrastructure, configurations, and incidents to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
• Deliver regular reports on network availability and KPIs to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Use advanced observability and automation tools for proactive detection and resolution of network issues.

Job Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Networks, or a relevant field
• Solid understanding of enterprise-grade networking (e.g., routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls) in production environments
• Experience with modern monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus and PRTG
• Basic experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, SD-WAN technologies and automation scripting (Python or Ansible) will be considered a strong advantage
• Proficiency in English and Greek
• Ability to work 24/7 shifts
