We are currently seeking an NMR Spectroscopist to join our Analytical Support group.  Working primarily on small molecules, you will be required to organise, perform and report on a broad range of analytical studies in support of our internal chemistry functions and contract analytical projects.

The position requires proficiency in NMR instrument operation, processing software, interpretation of spectra and application of multi­­dimensional NMR methods for structural elucidation and characterisation of organic compounds. Experience of working with Bruker NMR spectrometers (including maintenance and upkeep) and a good working knowledge of organic chemistry would be advantageous. Experience of working in either a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment is highly desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Ph.D. or graduate in chemistry or related field with hands on experience in NMR spectroscopy (minimum 1 to 5 years industry experience).

A key team player and proactive individual with the ability to successfully deliver results within tight deadlines and keen attention to detail, you will possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, combined with a strong customer-focused approach.  The ability to co-ordinate within interdisciplinary teams is important.  In return, Eurofins Selcia offers an excellent comprehensive total reward package.
