As an Athlete, you are the heartbeat of our store. Your mission is to deliver a premium consumer experience by understanding individual customer needs and offering complete solutions through Nike products and services. You will also play a key role in driving commercial success by supporting back-of-house operations and maintaining an inspiring sales floor.
Your Responsibilities as a BOH Athlete
Store Operations & Consumer Experience
Use strong customer service skills, sales techniques, and product knowledge to connect consumers with the right products and deliver exceptional service.
Show enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about all store departments, including operating the cash register, supporting shipping and receiving, stocking the sales floor, performing cleaning duties, and assisting with visual merchandising.
Serve as a reliable product knowledge resource for consumers and new team members. Continuously seek opportunities to grow your understanding of Nike products, culture, and sales and service techniques.
Support Leads, Senior Associates, and Managers in training entry-level teammates to ensure smooth daily operations and premium service delivery.
Contribute to loss prevention efforts through proactive customer engagement.
Build positive relationships with consumers and teammates, contributing to a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
Back of House (BOH)
Ensure BOH area is clean, organized to ensure a smooth transition between seasons and complies to safety
standards
▪ Perform box counts, validate against bills of lading , ensuring discrepancies, shortages or damages are
reported immediately to BOH or Store management team
▪ Follow PRE (Product Receiving Excellence) standard with BOH processes and organization
▪ Perform efficient Product Refill process as per company standards, assist sales floor with product placement
& stock replenishment
▪ Follow correct transfer and RTV procedures
▪ Support the Visual Merchandising team in preparing the merchandise for placement in the sales floor
▪ Proficient utilization of business systems & latest technology
▪ Support implementation and closing of Markdown / Promotion on timely manner
▪ Proactively feedback challenges and opportunities to Store and BOH management with a solution-oriented
mindset
Your Qualifications
Strong and effective communication skills.
Ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods (with or without reasonable accommodation).
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong team player with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
One or more years of retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
Flexibility to work a variety of retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
Passionate and knowledgeable about the Nike brand.
If you do not hold the nationality of an EU member state, you must be in possession of a valid work permit.
