Job Description
Join us in shaping the future of drone infrastructure. As a Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer, you will design and develop innovative hardware systems for next-generation drone ports, taking ideas from concept all the way to real-world operation. If you enjoy hands-on engineering, fast iteration, and real impact, this role is for you.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
• Design and develop mechanical and mechatronic subsystems for drone ports and related systems across ground and maritime use cases.
• Contribute to the overall system architecture, ensuring requirements and capabilities are aligned from a systems engineering perspective.
• Select appropriate materials and define production processes in line with structural, thermal, and environmental requirements.
• Validate concepts through prototyping, stress analysis, and simulation. You will take ownership of your designs throughout the full prototyping cycle, including assembly and testing.
• Plan and support the validation of serial products, analyze root causes of issues, and feed insights back into production.
• Ensure designs are scalable for series production, considering supply chain constraints, design for manufacturing (DFM), and assembly requirements.
