About the team and the Role

The New Verticals Associate is a crucial role within the Deliveroo Skills Centre, focusing on mission-critical operational tasks. This position contributes significantly to maintaining the quality and integrity of our platform by executing a diverse range of responsibilities and supporting Deliveroo's ambitious expansion into new on-demand grocery and retail services. The Associate reports directly to the Skills Centre - Squad Lead.

What you'll be doing

• Content Moderation: Identify and remove prohibited items from the platform, ensuring strict compliance with Deliveroo's policies and standards.

• Marketing Campaign Execution: Assist in the implementation of marketing campaigns across various platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Menu Management: Upload and manage menu items, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the platform.

• Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making and maintain Deliveroo's competitive edge.

• Partner Onboarding & Profile Management: Efficiently manage high-volume partner profile setups, ensuring accuracy and swift integration under strict time constraints.

• Autonomous Category Management: Strategically manage product categories by analyzing data, leveraging self-derived insights, and adhering to SOP guidelines to optimize structure and performance.

• Versatile Task Execution: Adaptably manage diverse operational tasks concurrently in a dynamic live environment, demonstrating a readiness to independently acquire new proficiencies.

Requirements

• Detail-Oriented & Compliant: Possesses a meticulous approach ensuring accuracy and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Organized & Efficient: Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.

• Spreadsheet Proficiency: Strong skills in Google Sheets (or MS Excel) for data analysis and manipulation.

• Task Management Software Experience: Familiarity with workflow and tracking tools, specifically monday.com.

• Strong Communication: Demonstrates clear and effective English communication, both written and verbal, for collaborative environments.

• Proactive Discrepancy Reporting: Ability to identify and report discrepancies in real-time to relevant stakeholders or reporting channels for immediate time optimization.

• Problem-Solving & Optimization: An agile self-starter, capable of quickly grasping new tasks, identifying effective workarounds, and implementing time optimization techniques to minimize task timelines.
