Networking Manager
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 DOE
Commission: 20% OTE
Location: London 4.5 day week (4 days in the office and Friday from home)

Position Purpose
The core purpose of the Networking Manager is to coordinate and manage meetings for sponsors of key events, ensuring they have a truly great experience during the conference. This role is essential for providing a professional service element to the networking process and managing all networking app queries and technical issues while the conference is underway.
Key Responsibilities
The Networking Manager is responsible for devising and delivering the entire networking initiative in partnership with the project team.
Strategic Planning & Communication:
Communicate with the event team to identify which sponsors to focus on six weeks before the event start date.
Arrange and lead a project meeting with the entire team to confirm strategy, including the number of meetings for each sponsor and on-site networking infrastructure.
Attend weekly catch-up meetings with the project team.
Sponsor & Exhibitor Management:
Serve as the initial point of contact for all exhibitor queries and review and send out exhibitor communications.
Conduct introductions to sponsors to determine their interest in utilizing the Networking Manager service.
Meeting Coordination & Logistics (Pre-Event):
Send weekly lists to sponsors and liaise between them and attendees to confirm and schedule meetings in diaries.
Maintain and update the sponsor schedule with all confirmed meetings.
Networking Technology & Support:
Set up the networking application and guide customers on its usage.
Prior to conferences, set up the email schedule and rigorously test the networking app.
Act as the sole contact for all incoming app-related queries on all events operated by the UK office.
Onsite Execution:
Meet with sponsors onsite, discuss their event presence, and review all confirmed meetings.
Facilitate networking and send email reminders for scheduled meetings while onsite.
Check on sponsors with a delegate list to proactively set up any extra onsite meetings that could not be confirmed before the conference start date.

Desirable: Experience with event platforms would be ideal.
