Network Security Engineer L2

Are you passionate about network security and eager to grow your career in a hands-on engineering role? We’re looking for a Network Security Engineer (L2) to join our team and provide support across switching, firewalling, and routing technologies.

Main Responsibilities

Network Security Implementation:

• Implement, and manage network and security solutions.
• Ensure best practices are followed across all projects.
• Ascertain that Projects are comprehensively documented according to Corporate policy

Customer Support and Operations:

• Engage in escalated Customer Incidents thus ensuring SLAs
• Manage Change Requests that require new implementation activities

Technical Expertise and Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest network and security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Take part in internal POCs for new technology adoption.

Technical Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in a network/security team, ideally support.
• Fortigate, Palo Alto, Huawei will be considered an asset. Cisco experience will be highly desirable.
• Knowledge of switching, firewalling, and routing protocols and technologies.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, VLANs, ACLs, NAT, and VPN concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and eagerness to learn.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Security+, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto ACE) are a plus.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Availability to work in Stand by model.
