We are looking for a Network Operations Center Engineer | Level 1/2 to join a project at a company specializing in the management of financial markets. The ideal candidate will provides level 1/2 technical support across a broad range of network and infrastructure disciplines that underpin the operation, as well as hosted markets for external clients.
This role is part of a high-availability, 24/7 operational environment and requires close collaboration with all the teams. The position is both internally and externally facing and plays a key role in ensuring service stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Responsabilities:
• Monitor and respond promptly to alerts generated by network and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network and system incidents within defined SLAs.
• Escalate incidents and problems proactively when service impact is identified or anticipated.
• Manage and implement network changes in accordance with established change management processes.
• Perform post-change validation and quality assurance activities.
• Prioritize and manage multiple incidents, requests, and tasks simultaneously.
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and process gaps.
• Participate in operational projects and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding incidents, outages, and resolutions.
Requirements:
• Experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar operational environment
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as LibreNMS, Nagios, Grafana, LogicMonitor
• Solid understanding of network and system infrastructures, including: LAN / WAN technologies, TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and MPLS
• Experience troubleshooting Cisco and Juniper network environments
• Familiarity with server virtualization, enterprise storage (SAN), backup solutions, and performance/fault monitoring tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in shifts (including nights/weekends, if applicable)
