Network Infrastructure Engineer

We currently have a vacancy for a Network Infrastructure Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Vienna, Austria. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

• Coordinate deployments across various development teams;
• Diagnose and troubleshoot errors and performance issues in the applications and coordinate efforts to fix them;
• Secure, high-availability network infrastructure for critical safeguards systems;
• Migration and modernization of network & security platforms;
• Collaboration with global teams.

Requirements:
• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Proficiency working in enterprise virtualized environments;
• Proven hands-on experience with Cisco routing & switching in large enterprise networks;
• Proven experience with Cisco Data Center technologies (Nexus/Catalyst);
• Direct experience deploying & managing Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls;
• Strong WAN/LAN implementation & support skills (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, QoS);
• CCNP or higher Cisco certification (CCIE a plus);
• Excellent command of English language.
