Network Engineer (WAN)

We are currently seeking a Network Engineer (WAN) to join our dedicated team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing wide area network solutions that guarantee reliability and high performance for our services.

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

• Design, implement, and manage WAN solutions including MPLS, VPN, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot WAN-related problems.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and achieve system performance targets.
• Document network configurations and operational processes for reference and compliance.
• Participate in network capacity planning and forecasting to ensure reliability and performance.
• Provide technical assistance during the deployment of new network components and services.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to optimize network solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and WAN technologies to propose improvements.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

• At least 3 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on WAN technologies.
• Strong knowledge of WAN protocols and technologies, including MPLS, SD-WAN, and IPsec VPNs.
• Experience in configuring and managing routing and switching devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance metrics.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP and related networking concepts.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver network solutions efficiently.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP or equivalent networking certifications will be advantageous.
• A proactive attitude towards learning emerging technologies and network advancements.
