Sunayu, LLC has an exciting new opportunity to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). We are looking for professionals to help us manage and modernize the IT infrastructure that drives world-class language instruction for the DLIFLC’s diverse academic community.
Basic Qualifications
Must have experience working with network infrastructure, preferably with a focus on Extreme Networks products and solutions.
Have a strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including but not limited to LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security.
Extreme Networks Certification highly recommended.
Certified to work on Extreme Networks products, such as switches, routers, access points, and network management tools.
Experience in managing network related projects, including planning, implementation, and documentation, including network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansions.
Shall possess a combination of experience and skills with the following manufacturers and applications:
VMware NSX: Install, Configure, Manage (V6.2)
Ruckus Layer 2 Switches / Wireless Controller / Wireless Access Points
Palo Alto Networks Firewall knowledge of PA-7050 / PA-3060 / PA-3260 / PA-5450 / WildFire/URL Filtering
Brocade MPLS Implementation Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches
Cisco Networks switches and routers
Aruba Networks Excellent knowledge of Wireless Controllers / Access Points / Airwave / ClearPass
Ciena 100G OME 6500 DWDM System
Extreme Networks Layer 2/3, MLXE Switches /Extreme IQ / OSPF, BGP, and MPLS
SolarWinds, InMon Sentinel, Uptrends
Education & Certifications
BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5+ years
AA/AS degree with 7+ year’s experience
9+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
Extreme Networks Certification
IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) and applicable CE/OS Certification.

Pay Rate
Salary range considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
