About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our complex data center network infrastructure. You will leverage your deep expertise in Cisco routing and switching, VMware NSX, and other cutting-edge technologies to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our network. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale network projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex data center network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XE, and ACI platforms.
• Implement and manage VMware NSX and DFW solutions.
• Manage and maintain Fortinet, Juniper, and Cisco firewalls.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute network infrastructure migration projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external vendors, bank personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with bank standards, processes, and controls.
• Perform documentation, knowledge transfer, and handover to the operations team.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of practical experience in implementing complex data center network infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, Catalyst, and Nexus with at least 5 years of experience at an expert level.
• Hands-on experience with VMWare NSX & DFW (minimum 1-2 years).
• Exposure to DNS and SDWAN at a conceptual level.
• Hands-on working experience with Cisco NX-OS & IOS-XE, and Cisco ACI.
• Experience with Fortinet, Juniper, and Cisco firewalls.
• Project experience in migrating network infrastructure and application flow through firewalled environments.
• Expert understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols.
• Expert design knowledge of IP-based networking architecture.
• Understanding of IGP & BGP IP Routing Protocol.
• Experience configuring Cisco ACI, NX, and IOS-XE platforms.
• Deep expertise in Infrastructure Network and Security – Routing and Switching, Firewalls.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Network Hardware like Cisco NX-OS switches, IOS-XE switches, Cisco ACI, Fortinet, and Juniper firewalls.
• Basic knowledge of scripting language Python.
• Proven experience working on large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
