Senior NetSuite Systems Accountant

Paris (or Marseille)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior NetSuite Systems Accountant to help our clients transition to a new NetSuite system. This is a hybrid position with the client considering both freelance and permanent.

Responsibilities

Configure NetSuite for French compliance including Plan Comptable Général (PCG), FEC, and TVA reporting

Helped manage change from old legacy system to NetSuite

Design chart of accounts, subsidiary setup, multi-currency functionality, and intercompany processes

Serve as primary NetSuite administrator managing users, security, and system performance

Create custom financial reports, dashboards, and saved searches for statutory and management reporting

Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring data integrity and audit compliance

Identify automation opportunities and drive process improvements

Experience

5-7 years accounting experience with 2-3 years using NetSuite

Proven ERP implementation experience, preferably NetSuite

Strong knowledge of French accounting standards and tax regulations

Experience with NetSuite configuration, customization, and reporting tools

Fluent French (native or professional proficiency)

Strong English (written and verbal)

Technical Skills

Advanced NetSuite proficiency (GL, AP, AR, SuiteAnalytics, saved searches)

Multi-subsidiary and multi-currency management

Strong Excel and data analysis skills

Understanding of SuiteFlow and system integrations

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting or Finance

French accounting qualification (DCG, DSCG) preferred

NetSuite certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
