NetSuite Administrator-Analyst

Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected.

The NetSuite Administrator will be responsible for providing day to day administrative and functional support for the overall NetSuite ERP system for AST. The candidate will need to have very good business process knowledge of Manufacturing, Accounting, Supply Chain, WMS, and Finance and be able to translate NetSuite capabilities to enable and support these functions to improve performance of business processes. The NetSuite administrator will work under the direction of the director of enterprise applications and be based in Spain. Ability to travel overseas when required.

Duties and Responsibilities:​

Ideal for someone who is proactive, enthusiastic, and passionate about IT and NetSuite in particular, this person will play a critical role in delivering solutions within the NetSuite environment and enabling the business to perform.

• Support a team of first line of support personnel for day-to-day functional operations and cross-functional teams that use NetSuite including maintaining proper system access for all roles

• Supervise process and provision new access, maintain security roles and user accounts and roles with appropriate permissions and levels of access

• Provide onboarding materials and training for new hires

• Support users’ knowledge and ability to personalize profile preferences, portlets, and Dashboards

• Create reports, saved searches, KPIs and dashboards, scripts, workflows, and custom records. Ability to build analytics reports a plus

• Utilize NetSuite CSV imports to update, import, or fix data in NetSuite

• Create and maintain NetSuite-related functional, technical and training documentation including training users

• Serve as the functional and technical point-of-contact for NetSuite users and processes

• Actively participate in system enhancements, including requirements gathering, development, data validation, documentation, user support and training, and on-going application maintenance

• Design, create and implement customized solutions

• Advise ERP owners on ideal use case for customizations vs native functionality

• Recommend, design, implement, document and maintain solutions and customizations of NetSuite to meet evolving business to mitigate business issues

• Ability to implement and support integrations between NetSuite and other third-party business applications

• Monitor systems performance, licenses, user access and usage, ticket SLA and other KPI’s. Develop KPI’s

• Perform and recommend application maintenance, upgrades, and regression testing

• Develop, implement, and maintain application security controls

• Recommend up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customizations, and integrations

• Develop positive employee relations, promote company values and culture

Minimum Qualifications:

• Thorough understanding of data management, administration of NetSuite, order to build, manufacturing, routings, production scheduling and costing

• Assigned Administrator role for minimum of four years

• 7 years NetSuite Administrator experience

• 3+ years NetSuite configuration/development experience

• 2+ years in Manufacturing – Order to Build

• 1+ years supporting implementations.

• Managed a small team of NetSuite Support personnel

• Some experience in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Ability to leverage technical skills and apply to solid business solutions, ability to transform end-user needs/functional requirement into technical requirements that translate to configuration and building solutions

• Experience designing NetSuite customizations, workflows, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAppS.

• Must have great multitasking skills and be able to support multiple issues at one time

• Experience with workflows that are executed from integrations

• Demonstrate experience and contribute to financial, accounting, manufacturing, WMS, and supply chain solutions and support general ledger, month/year end close process, chart of account considerations, inventory, purchasing, work orders, BoM’s, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science

• Legally authorized to work in Spain for any employer

Certifications: NetSuite Suite Foundation, Administrator, Application Developer, SuiteAnalytics
