Roles and Responsibilities:

• To support Production Storage Environment of an enterprise
• Handling Data Center Operations with Business & Mission Critical applications
• Handling escalated incidents
• Participating and Implementing Changes
• Reporting Capacity & Performance
• Prepare and maintain Technical Documentations (SOP, KM, SMTD)
• Upgradation of existing SAN infrastructure

Requirements:
• Administration skills in Netapp Storage arrays (FAS, Eseries, DATA Ontap OS, Cluster mode)
• Installing/Configuring/Supporting multipath s/w
• Identify and report capacity and throughput problem.
• Admin knowledge of CIFS, NFS
• Administering Volumes
• Experience in NDMP, OSSV
• Troubleshooting connectivity issues
• Troubleshooting Hardware diagnostics, break-fix
• Troubleshooting the problems related to Network storage configuration issues.
• Experience in Storage Virtualization
• Configuration, monitoring & analyzing event, alert logs and appropriate actions taking-active measures
• and preventive measures for problems/errors.
• Experience in Backup tools and SAN products.
• Working knowledge in UNIX administration or Windows administration.
• Deployment management
• Remote system administration
• Knowledge in automation Scripting/tools
• Knowledge in SLA, Incident management, Problem management, Change management.
• Capacity reporting
• Meeting SLA in time to fix the errors and problems
• Netapp / Third party, Vendor co-ordination
• Supporting escalated tasks/incidents
• Fair Written & Verbal Communication Skills
• Good Team working
• Experience of handling global customers.
