Complete Description: NC Department of Agriculture is seeking a temporary to permanent employee to work on .net projects and SharePoint development efforts.

Expected Skills: Able to work without assistance; can provide limited leadership to others; able to manage medium complexity work efforts; may have industry experience.

Description (including, but not limited to):

• Development and enhancement of applications based on established design specifications
• Analysis, design, coding, component/assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team
• Implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements
• Writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions, maintenance (including production support)
• Unit testing applications and developing system and user documentation

Considerable knowledge of reporting techniques such as Crystal reports and SSRS.
Extensive knowledge and programming experience using VB.net & C#
Strong SQL Server skills with experience in writing complex SQL queries, triggers, stored procedures, and user defined functions.
Experience with Team Foundation Server
Ability to learn new software systems and programming languages by studying available references.
Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
Ability to work well with a variety of people.
Good management, organizational and problem solving skills.
Ability to understand, analyze and interpret organizations and work processes to develop or modify applications that meet business requirements.
Extensive knowledge and programming experience using ASP.net
Extensive knowledge and programming experience using CSS
Extensive knowledge and programming experience using JQuery
Extensive knowledge and programming experience using JavaScript.
Extensive knowledge and programming experience using Entity Framework
Sharepoint front end design/development experience.
Must be able to perform site branding and customization in SharePoint (Master Pages, Layouts, and Data View customization using HTML\CSS\jQuery)
Must be able to design and develop SharePoint solutions based Object model, Workflows, BCS, Timer Jobs and Service Applications
Must have knowledge Client side object models like JSOM, CSOM, SSOM, REST API and SP Services
Must have knowledge of Development Tools Visual Studio 2012, 2015, SharePoint Designer2013, and InfoPath Designer
