The opportunity
Ntara is looking for a .NET C# developer. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of APIs and Systems Integrations and have a clear working knowledge of the different players in the space (i.e. manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, retailers, consumers). Ntara needs a team player willing to collaborate cross-functionally across multiple departments to deliver award winning work for our roster of clients.
This job is full-time onsite in our office in Cayala (zone 16). Must be able to work in the GMT-4 time zone.
Must be fluent in both spoken and written English.
What you’ll do
Create and maintain APIs and systems integrations between different platforms
Build core integrations, platform customizations, and automations to business logic
Ensure quality deliverables to our clients
Develop web experiences with our seasoned team of developers
Requirements gathering and technical specification implementation
Provide maintenance on existing platform solutions for our clients
Could create B2B/B2C Ecommerce experiences for our clients on .NET platforms
What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience with .NET MVC or Core
Preferable experience building and maintaining APIs and systems integrations for various platforms
Azure Stack experience
Source control experience (GIT & SVN)
Integrations with business systems such as ERPs, SAAS, PIM, OMS, etc
Object-oriented programming concepts
SOLID principles
Defensive programming
Experience in a consulting environment preferred. Must be comfortable managing billable and non-billable hours expectations.
This position will work with clients across multiple teams and disciplines and requires strong communication skills and an ability to prioritize and categorize requests.
Knowledge & understanding of
Visual Studio .NET
Object-relational-mapping (ORM) we prefer Entity Framework
JavaScript Frameworks used for pulling and manipulating large data sets (experience with any SPA JavaScript framework such as Vue.js, Angular, React)
Azure DevOps
Azure App Service and VM environments
Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with TSQL, stored procedures, and database design
Docker & Micro-services
HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Microsoft Office products
Bonus points
Experience with relational data modeling and data structures
Excellent communication and relational skills
Strong debugging experience. Ability to decompile source code and understand why it isn’t working as intended
Site performance and optimization experience
JetBrains Suite of products included ReSharper
Ability to multi-task
The ideal candidate will also have experience in (PIM) product information management (inRiver, Akeneo, Salsify, etc) - and (DAM) digital asset management (Cloudinary, Bynder, Aprimo, etc)
