Need Informatica with Cognos Consultant

Thorough knowledge of COGNOS report development.
Develop mappings for data extraction transformation and load to the data warehouse. Identifies, designs, codes, debugs tasks necessary to develop Data Warehouse/Mart and ETL BI solutions.
Experience with Informatica PowerCenter version 9.6 and 10.1. Experience with Data Quality. Develops database triggers and SQL queries needed inside the ETL Informatica.

Scope of Work:
The Application Systems Architect II shall be contracted to work on the following ETL processes:
1. Assist with Accountability Aggregation Table work (Agg Tables)
2. Update and automate the SchoolView Data Center processes
1. Some requirements analysis
2. Some recommendation regarding what should be kept and what should be eliminated
3. Assist Informatica and LINK upgrades
4. Update and automate the Educator Effectiveness
1. Assist with upcoming school year changes
5. Automate some if not all of the EdFacts processes
6. Update and automate CEDAR processes
1. Some requirements analysis
2. Some recommendation regarding what should be kept and what should be eliminated
7. Additional ETL processes that need attention that have not been identified at this time

All work will be performed at the Colorado Department of Education 201 E. Colfax Denver, CO 80203 and remotely as approved by the CDE CIO & Data Warehouse Manager.
Applicant Qualifications/Key Assumptions:
1. Applicant shall be an Application Systems Architect II
2. Will be required to pass a background check.
3. Informatica Skills
1. Strong development skills; ability to develop very difficult or complicated transformation from scratch
2. Strong administrative skills including repository management and knowledge of best practices regarding Informatica
4. Strong oral and written communication skills working with both business users and technical staff
5. Ability to multi-task
6. Ability to prioritize their work / tasks and adjust as necessary
7. COGNOS report development skills
8. Must demonstrate experience in working with a broad cross-section of stakeholders.
9. Must have a complete understanding of project SDLC (including agile) development methodologies and formal project delivery methodologies.
