We’re looking for a Java Developer to join a backend-focused project built with Quarkus, running in a cloud-native environment on GCP and Kubernetes. The project is highly automated, with strong engineering practices around testing and deployment.

CANDIDATES OUTSIDE OF PORTUGAL WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features in a custom authorization platform, where services manage and consume their own users

• Build backend services using Java (Quarkus)

• Write and maintain automated tests using JUnit

• Participate actively in code reviews and continuous improvement

• Work in a CI/CD-driven environment with automated pipelines and deployments

Requirements:

• Experience with Java, ideally with Quarkus

• Solid backend development skills

• Experience writing and maintaining tests (JUnit)

• Comfortable working with code reviews and clean code practices

• Interest in technically complex systems with clear and well-defined business logic

• (Nice to have) Exposure to cloud environments, GCP, and Kubernetes
