Australian Quality Care is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as an Administrative Officer within the Bookings Team. About you and your role:
As a full-time member of the Bookings Team, you will be based onsite, having daily face-to-face contact with Support Workers and clients, and offering access and convenience for all their rostering and scheduling support needs.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills and be a quick-thinking problem solver. You will be empathetic and have a passion for contributing to the quality of peoples’ lives. You will be recognised as a strong, supportive, and valued member of your close-knit team.
In your role, you will:
Schedule supports for clients, managing scheduling updates and cancellations quickly and accurately
Collaborate with the Facility management team to create and manage optimal rosters
Work with the Client Liaison team and the Finance team in scheduling suitable supports for clients including Assistance with Daily Activities and Community Access Activities
Manage phone calls and emails from Support Workers, Support Managers, Clients, and Support Coordinators
Confidentially manage and protect client and staff information
Keep accurate records, data entry, data management and analysis
Meaningfully contribute to the continuous improvement of company systems and processes
Perform other general administration duties as required.
Undertake on-call duties, including weekends, to support operational and service delivery needs.
To be successful you will:
Have experience in NDIS administration or a similar sector (aged care, disability, health, or community services), or strong transferable administrative skills from another industry.
Have strong computer literacy and experience using the Microsoft Office suite
Have outstanding organisation and prioritisation skills
Have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Have accurate and clear written and verbal communication
Be intuitive with the ability to think critically and creatively when problem solving
Have a willingness to perform tasks of varying complexity, from filing and correspondence through to higher-level project work
Current Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willing to obtain
Have lots of confidence, energy and focus!
Experience in a rostering and/or scheduling role is a strong advantage.
