SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: THE CFS PROJECT TEAM S RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING, THE CFS PROJECT IS PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES (DSS) AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING, IMPLEMENTING, MAINTAINING, AND OBTAINING FEDERAL CERTIFICATION OF A FEDERALLY-MANDATED CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM (CSES) THAT WILL PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT TO THE OPERATION OF SOUTH CAROLINA’S CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT (CSE) PROGRAM AS WELL AS FOR COMPLETING THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FAMILY COURT CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (FCCMS) FOR THE 46 CLERKS OF COURT.

THIS IS A REPOSTING OF AN EXISTING POSITION TO PERFORM IN THE ROLE OF NATURAL PROGRAMMER THAT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR USING CODING SPECIFICATIONS AND THE NATURAL PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE TO PRODUCE EXTRACT PROGRAMS AND REPORTS REQUIRED TO EXTRACT DATA FROM AN ADABAS DATABASE. THIS WILL INCLUDE REPORTS, VENDOR EXPORTS, AND OTHER DATA RELATED TASKS. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF FOUR YEARS OF NATURAL CODING EXPERIENCE.
THE CANDIDATE WILL TAKE INITIATIVE IN PERFORMANCE, WORKING INDEPENDENTLY AND WITH GROUPS, TO EFFECTIVELY ACCOMPLISH PROJECT OBJECTIVES AND ENGAGE IN THE FOLLOWING:
• PARTICIPATE IN QUALITY ASSURANCE ACTIVITIES TO INCLUDE CODE REVIEWS WITH OTHER ANALYSTS
• PRODUCE/UPDATE DOCUMENTATION RELATED TO THE EXTRACT/REPORT PROGRAMS
• PARTICIPATE IN TESTING ACTIVITIES TO VERIFY PROGRAM RESULTS
• PERFORM DETAILED DATA ANALYSIS AND DATA PROFILING SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DATA CLEANSE/CREATE PROCESSES AND OTHER STRATEGIES THAT OPTIMIZE DATA QUALITY
• RECOGNIZE DATA PATTERNS, QUANTIFY POTENTIAL ISSUES, AND IDENTIFY SOLUTIONS

Knowledge of SharePoint, JCL and TSO is required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• (Minimum 4+ years of Natural coding experience
• Knowledge of JCL and TSO
• Knowledge of SharePoint
