What This Job Looks Like
As a Junior Automation Specialist, you'll build and maintain the automation workflows that power our operations. You'll work with n8n and other workflow automation platforms, AI tools, and marketing systems to create processes that make our team more efficient. This is a hands-on technical role for someone with some experience who wants to grow fast in the automation and AI space.
Your Day-to-Day Includes
Design, build, and maintain automated workflows in n8n, connecting AI tools, marketing platforms, and internal systems
Translate team requests into functional automation solutions with clear documentation and reusable workflow templates
Integrate and optimise AI nodes within workflows, managing API token usage and prompt efficiency
Test, debug, and troubleshoot workflows with proper error handling and root cause analysis
Monitor workflow executions, address failures promptly, and update workflows when API endpoints change
Create and maintain SOPs, process maps, and workflow documentation
Collaborate cross-functionally to understand department needs and communicate project status to leadership
Track automation efficiency gains and stay current on platform updates and best practices
What Sets You Apart
Experience with workflow automation platforms or low-code/no-code builders
Motivated to learn how AI integrations and automation work together
Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple technical projects
Comfortable taking feedback and iterating on workflows quickly
Curious, proactive, and willing to learn new tools and APIs
Qualifications
Experience with workflow automation platforms like n8n, Make.com, Zapier, or similar tools
Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, and how systems integrate
Bonus (not required):
AI node integration experience (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
Marketing platform experience (Google Ads, Facebook, CRMs)
Python or JavaScript for custom function nodes
Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical team members
Desire to grow in a fast-paced agency environment
