[MY] GR2, Pharmacy Assistant - Batu Feringghi

About the team

We are a group of chain pharmacies, focusing on servicing local communities and promoting pharmaceutical cares in the Northern region in Malaysia. Our outlets are located in various strategic locations of Penang island.

We are seeking a Retail Pharmacy Assistant,  who will be responsible for assisting in the operations and performance of our retail outlet. Your objective will be to ensure consistent adherence to operational standards, achieve sales targets, and provide exceptional customer service. 

This role reports directly to the Outlet Person In Charge (PIC). 

A summary of the key responsibilities and requirements are as follows:

About the role

Perform daily retail operational tasks as per arranged by PIC

Assist to ensure up to date records are maintained

Adhere to the requirements according to related pharmacy legislation

Provide product information to customers 

Assist to manage medication inventory

Undergo training and development

Other ad hoc duties as required based on given rooster and timetable

About you

Minimum SPM 

Preferably 1 year of retail pharmacy experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Able to communicate (spoken and written) in Malay and English. Mandarin and local dialects proficiency is an added advantage.

Proficient in using IT tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word & Google Drive 

Able to multi-task effectively including managing multiple projects simultaneously and managing multiple different timelines

Comfortable with ambiguity - we're a fast-growing business and there's always unchartered territories, which is part of the fun. You should be comfortable with it and understand that not everything is 100% defined all the time.
