About the role

The Corporate Development and Financial Planning & Analysis team at Doctor Anywhere oversees conventional corporate development functions (e.g., private and public capital markets transactions, M&A and investor relations) as well as FP&A. We are looking for an addition to  our FP&A team, whose main focus will be driving the FP&A processes - financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

This role will work closely with senior management to drive strategic initiatives and aim to supply business units and investors alike, with useful financial and operational metrics to aid in decision-making.

We are looking for candidates with exceptional drive and energy, excellent financial and analytical competencies, strong data modeling capabilities, and solid verbal and written communication skills.

This role is based in Malaysia and reports directly to the Senior Manager, Corporate Development and FP&A based in Singapore.

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:

Create, own and continuously improve management reporting deliverables for investors and internal business unit leaders

Work closely with the various business units and the Finance team to continuously refine and improve the management reporting process for the group

Partner with business units to prepare financial forecasts and annual budgets

Analyze business unit performance and provide actionable insights

Support M&A, capital raising and investor relations efforts

About you

3-5 years of work experience in corporate finance, FP&A or business partnership

Strong foundation in accounting and corporate finance

Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, including data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau etc.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good command over Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Powerpoint are a must), a plus for familiarity with Google Workspace tools (mostly Sheets)

Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized

Familiarity with Healthcare and Health-tech industry would be beneficial but not mandatory

Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow

A do-er attitude – collaborative, entrepreneurial, not afraid to roll-up-your sleeves and go into the weeds

A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges. 

Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun!
