Job Overview:
 

The Developer, Gen AI Initiatives, plays a critical role in guiding, coordinating, and enabling the successful adoption of Generative AI across the organization. This position emphasizes technical leadership, solution oversight, governance, and cross‑functional enablement rather than deep, hands‑on model development. 

The ideal candidate combines strong understanding of Generative AI technologies (LLMs, multimodal models, vectorization, prompt engineering, etc.) with the ability to translate business needs into feasible AI use cases, oversee solution design, ensure responsible AI practices, and support delivery teams in embedding Gen AI capabilities within products, processes, and platforms. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Support the development of the Gen AI strategy and roadmap to ensure alignment with business priorities. 

Identify and assess high‑value Gen AI opportunities across business units. 

Guide teams on Gen AI best practices, including prompt engineering, model selection, and solution architecture. 

Lead the design and scoping of Gen AI solutions, ensuring technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with enterprise standards. 

Provide technical oversight and direction to developers and engineers implementing AI models, workflows, and integrations. 

Recommend appropriate Gen AI models, tools, and frameworks (e.g., GPT, Claude, Llama, Azure OpenAI, vector DBs). 

Ensure responsible and ethical AI practices, including compliance with privacy, data‑management, and governance requirements. 

Define and maintain evaluation frameworks for Gen AI model performance, safety, accuracy, and reliability. 

Partner across engineering, product, data, HR, operations, and compliance teams to drive successful Gen AI initiative delivery and documentation. 

Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing by staying current on Gen AI trends, evaluating vendors/open‑source options, and leading internal trainings or demos. 

 

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or related field. 

 

Experience:

Solid experience working with Generative AI, LLMs, or ML‑driven applications (not necessarily as a full‑time developer). 

Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, solutions, or workstreams in AI, ML, or software engineering environments. 

Experience supporting teams in designing or implementing AI/ML workflows, model integrations, or data pipelines. 

Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern AI platforms. 

 

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of LLMs, embeddings, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and responsible AI concepts. 

Proficient English communication skills, verbal and written (C1).

Ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear, business‑relevant insights. 

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills. 

Demonstrated problem‑solving capabilities and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
