Job Title: Royalty Label Analyst
Reports To: Royalty Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Department: Royalty
Summary: Assists all areas of royalty administration, including, but not limited to, record label administration, licensing, royalty statement analysis, and audit analysis support.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Prepare complex artist, producer, profit participation and mechanical statements under direction of manager*
Prepare income allocation schedules under direction of manager *
Prepare analytical reports under direction of manager *
Review of contracts and licenses to ensure that reported royalties are accurate *
Meet hard reporting deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude under pressure *
Other royalty-related duties and projects as assigned

Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, macros, pivot tables, and data transformation)
Accounting/royalty experience in the music industry is a plus
Knowledge of a royalty system, like Curve, Record Maestro, SR1, or Tone is a plus
Strong analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast‐paced environment
Ability to work independently
Ability to multi‐task and handle multiple priorities at any given time
Ability to keep information confidential
Familiarity with royalty contracts and royalty calculations preferred
Must be very organized and detail oriented
Highly motivated and with a desire to work in a team environment
Education / Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of music royalties experience recommended
Bachelor’s Degree required

Occasional standing, walking, crouching, and light lifting up to 15 pounds.
Frequent use of hands and reaching with hands and arms
Regular talking, hearing, seeing, and sitting
Low to moderate noise level
