Location: Chicago, IL (60604)
Duration: 4-6+ Months
Robust knowledge in the following areas of Murex:
• FO/MO/BO functionalities
• Back Office Support – OSP, workflow, payments, accounting, confirmations
• Front office – Deal entry, simulation, pricing, pretrade rules, understanding of trading products
• Middle Office – VAR, RISK
• Creating/editing simulation views/layouts
• Trade workflows
• Adding/editing typologies (structures)
• Importing test cases/configuration changes
• End of Day (EOD) Processing.
• Monitor Murex based support tickets, provide support with all end-user issues, escalate issues to the support manager as needed.
• Communicate effectively in non-technical terms with end users to troubleshoot issues and bring to resolution.
• Ability to not only diagnose Murex issues but effectively train internal support staff on how to diagnose similar issues going forward.
• Contribute to customer and support analyst “how to” documentation, knowledge base articles, and internal troubleshooting guides.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively under time constraints.
