MUREX Interface Developer

Job Description:-

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of MUREX interface, report and workflow development experience in the financial industry, direct experience with treasury business is preferred.

• Strong Murex Mx3.1 interface development and support experience in mission critical systems in financial industry.

• Involved interface rollout for large projects that require to co-ordinate and manage various departments such as infrastructure, middleware, data warehouse, GL, and etc.

• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

Preferred skills:

• Experience in system architecture and design, good and thorough understanding of bank’s front office, MRM and back office operations, finance and accounting.

• Good knowledge of treasury products

• Exposure in Unix, preferably Linux (Redhat) and Solaris to the level of checking processes, writing shell scripts and checking log files.

• Exposure in Oracle 10g/11G, SQL, PL-SQL

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and co-ordinate MUREX interfaces for the treasury business

• A specialist functions to identify key risk or issues on the interface developments and testing applications.

• Provide a solution to interface show stopper issues and liaise with vendors to resolve the issues.

• Co-ordinate end to end testing on trading platform.

Prepare and track the interface status reports and communicate to Key stakeholders
