Role: Murex Developer

Job Description

You will be a Team Member in the Murex Development team which is responsible for all Change requests and enhancements for the Murex application.

• Responsible for Delivering change requests and enhancements for the Murex platform and ensure that they are delivered in accordance with the project schedule and standards.

• Anticipate, analyze, address and resolve any issues or risks either independently or together with the relevant stakeholders and propose alternative solutions as necessary.

• Work with the Development Team manager to manage all the CR and enhancements under the mandate of the development team and ensure their delivery on time, budget, within scope, without any post-implementation production issues and high level of user satisfaction.

 Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3-6 years of actual hands-on development working experience on the Murex platform.

• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Strong Murex Application Development Knowledge is required with good experience in databases, programming languages, middleware and Web & Internet technologies

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking and team-oriented environment.

• Strong functional/business knowledge of Global Capital Markets and Investment Banking, across all the major asset classes, with solid understanding of the key business processes in the front, middle and back office areas.
