Job Description

Essential experience and knowledge:

- Hands on experience working with Murex 3.1
- Experience working on Murex implementations and ability to have an end-to-end view of the technical solution
- Understanding of technical components related to Murex deployment
- Ability to engage with Vendor and technical teams to share best practices around implementation
- Experience with Murex Technical Architecture, Datamarts, Reporting, Real-time Market Data API, End of Day
- Experience with operating system administration (UNIX, Linux) and the development of interfaces between systems
- Knowledge of fixed income and derivatives (interest rate, credit, equities, commodities)
- Experience defining business and technical requirements

• 3-5 years experience working with an enterprise portfolio management, accounting, and/or derivative trading & risk management system
• Knowledge of the mechanics and workflows associated with interest rate, FX, and credit derivative instruments
• Experience working with hedge accounting systems is a big plus
• Experience working with a leading derivative system such as Murex, Calypso, or Summit
• Ability to work with customers, create partnerships, and negotiate
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
• Strong Analytical skills
• Results oriented
• Adaptable self-learner

Preferred Technical Qualifications:

• Experience working with databases, data warehouses, datamarts as well as good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL
• Data Modeling experience and understanding design principles is a big plus
• Experience with ETL and reporting tools
• Experience working with UNIX/Linux as well as knowledge of Shell Scripting or other high level programming language
