The Municipal Customer Support Representative provides a high level of technical service to all internal and external customers, resolves each enquiry within the agreed time frames and ensures the customer is communicated with at all steps of the process.
Key responsibilities include: 
• Provide consistently excellent customer support including prompt processing of orders received by telephone, email, data entry, complaint resolution and timely return of calls to ensure all customer service targets are met as a minimum or exceeded.
• Record and process customer contacts accurately and adhere to processes and technical registry.
• Use appropriate systems to provide visibility of own activity throughout the day ensuring all cases are resolved and communicated to the customer as per customer service targets.
• Carry out other administrative duties and any other admin functions as required by the municipal customer services supervisor.
• Ensure productivity is maintained at the highest level expected.
 
• Moderate customer service experience
• Minimal waste industry or manufacturing industry experience.
• Customer service skills including strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong service ethic.
• Strong computer application skills.
• Good telephone etiquette, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• High level attention to detail.
