Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – Night Shift
42 hours per week from Monday to Thursday 10pm – 7am, Friday 9pm – 2am.
Beenham, Berkshire
£49,686 (plus 33.33% shift allowance) + overtime + benefits
Overtime is paid at x1.5 for Monday - Saturday, and x2 for Sundays and bank holidays

We are now looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to lead all maintenance activities on a newly established night shift.
About the role...
Working as part of a skilled Engineering team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
You’ll be involved in a variety of engineering tasks, ensuring a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure. Completing routine welding repairs on machinery. Working on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive engineering activities on site.
What are the required skills?
• Apprentice-trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering ideally with the 18th Edition qualification
• Good working knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical engineering within a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment
• Welding experience is key for this role
• A flexible approach to varying work activities including production requirements
• Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements
• A clear passion for engineering with a desire to learn and grow in the role
