Role Overview

- Mulesoft Architect with strong experience in MuleSoft integration and API-led connectivity.

- Someone with a solid foundation in Java and backend development, and hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

- A certified MuleSoft professional who can design, build, and manage APIs and integrations in a distributed, cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft Flows and integrations using Anypoint Studio and related tools.
• Build and maintain services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Lead the modernization of integration architecture and contribute to microservices design.
• Work closely with architects and product managers to align on integration strategies.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of integration solutions.
• Promote best practices in API design, testing, and CI/CD automation.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for cloud-native deployments (e.g., Kubernetes, GCP).
• Collaborate with other platform teams to refine integration architecture and define technical work for peers
• Ability to help and train others in mulesoft

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Work Experience & Skills

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on integration and backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Certification

Required: Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Architect

Other Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills and a process-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for clean code, automation, and continuous improvement.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with API governance and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog, Prometheus, GCP Monitoring).
• Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, RBAC, mTLS).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
