The MACU Experience
During their time at MACU, our interns will significantly understand what it means to be a Credit Union. They will become familiar with our departments and how each of them contributes to our success in serving as our members' trusted financial home. Through this internship, you will experience daily life in a financial institution and leave with a comprehensive and true understanding of the industry.
Who Should Apply
MACU is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our summer internship program. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of a credit union, working alongside experienced professionals across multiple departments including member services, compliance, lending, and back-office operations.
What You’ll Do:
Shadow staff in multiple departments to gain cross-functional knowledge.
Collaborate with different departments to help complete their daily tasks.
Assist with employee engagement opportunities.
Accompany our marketing team to educational events in the community.
Fill in on the Teller Lines or in ITMs as needed.
What You Need to Get the Job Done:
Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Available to work full-time during the summer
