Ultrasound Sonographer (MSK & Pain Management) – Weekend Contract

Location: South West EnglandContract Type: Weekend locum (ad-hoc weekends)Start: Ongoing – weekends only

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting an experienced Ultrasound Sonographer to support a weekend-only service across sites in the South West. The role is focused on musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound and pain management, supporting clinics with diagnostic imaging and interventional work.

This is a flexible contract — not every weekend is required — and availability will be coordinated as part of a rota.

Key Responsibilities

Performing MSK ultrasound examinations

Supporting pain management clinics

Experience with ultrasound-guided injections or interventions is highly desirable

Ensuring high clinical standards and patient care

Working collaboratively with clinicians and wider MDT

Requirements

•
HCPC-registered Sonographer (or equivalent)

•
Strong experience in MSK ultrasound

•
Pain management / interventional ultrasound experience preferred

•
Ability to work independently in a clinic setting

•
Weekend availability (ad-hoc / rota-based)

Rates & Payments

•
Day rate: circa £600+ per day (depending on experience)

•
Payment method: Umbrella (limited company potentially available, TBC)

Flexible commitment — no requirement to cover every weekend
