ABOUT LIV GOLF

Now in its fourth season, the LIV Golf League features 13 teams competing for both an Individual and Team title at premier golf courses across the world. As the first truly global golf League, LIV Golf is constantly innovating to set a new standard in sport and redefine the fan experience through the lens of music, culture, and entertainment, while growing the game of golf for a new era of players and fans around the world. LIV Golf was designed to expand the sport on a global level, bring new audiences to the game, create new value within the golfing ecosystem, and enhance the game’s societal impact far beyond the course through the League’s Impact & Sustainability efforts. In 2022, LIV Golf launched The International Series, which features 10 elevated events in world-class destinations. Sanctioned by the Asian Tour, these events offer a pathway for leading professional and amateur golfers from around the world into the LIV Golf League and the Majors.

HISTORY

Founded in 2021 and officially launched in 2022 with the eight-event LIV Golf Invitational Series, 2025 was our third 14-event season as the LIV Golf League.

The format respects golf’s history and traditions with updates for modern-day sports fans; four days, 72 holes, no cut, shotgun start, and simultaneous Team and Individual competitions, offering a faster tournament that drives engaging storylines and offers an immersive fan experience. The League’s award-winning events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast to over 900 million homes across 200 international territories, showcase world-class competition happening at LIV Golf’s 14 global events. Music entertainment, food, live concerts, family-friendly activations and offer a festival-like atmosphere. A two-time winner of the World’s Best Golf Event from the World Golf Awards and a Sports Business Awards Finalist for Sports Event of the Year, our signature hospitality, inclusive atmosphere, quality food and beverage offerings, post-play concerts have helped LIV Golf have helped build record-breaking attendance at events worldwide.

LIV Golf continues to expand its reach by bringing the League to new and returning markets featuring some of the most iconic venues in the world. It has also introduced free agency to professional golf, integrating end-of-season player promotion and relegation, team trades and off-season roster movement that drive year-round fan engagement, embraced by many of the world’s most popular sports.

ROLE OBJECTIVE/THE TEAM

The Dynamics 365 Business Central Platform Owner will be the dedicated owner and primary administrator of our D365 Business Central (BC) environment. This is a critical hybrid role, combining deep functional/technical administration with the strategic ownership of a Product Owner.

You will be responsible for maturing and optimising our BC platform, ensuring it is secure, compliant and efficiently supports the finance function's growth. The right person will have a massive impact by implementing robust system governance, managing the development roadmap, and ensuring that our transactional, reporting, and tax functions fully leverage the system.

We are looking for someone eager to grow their knowledge by being involved in wider finance-related Tech projects, ensuring the finance function evolves with technology at its core.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Own the Business Central Environment: Serve as the internal System Owner for all BC environments (Dev, Test, Prod), managing system integrity, lifecycle, and health.

• System Governance (ITGC & DevOps): Implement and enforce IT General Controls (ITGC), conform and adopt to enterprise wide change management processes and best-practice DevOps/Deployment processes to ensure compliant, secure, and controlled releases of configurations and code.

• Configuration & Customisation: Own and execute system configuration changes. Perform minor development/customization where required (e.g., Al code changes, Power Platform integrations) or closely manage third-party developers performing this work.

• Security & User Management: Design, implement, and manage the BC security model, user roles, and permissions to meet finance and compliance requirements.

• Third-Party Management: Manage external consultants and implementation partners, holding them accountable for scope, quality, technical standards, and delivery processes.

Strategy & Product Management

• Product Ownership & Backlog Management: Act as the Product Owner for the BC platform. Own, prioritise, and manage the system backlog, defining and translating business needs into detailed user stories and requirements.

• System Roadmap: Stay up to date with Dynamics 365 Business Central advancements and recommend strategic enhancements to the finance team based on business value.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, external partners) to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure integrated solutions.

Functional & Project Support

• Onboarding and Training: Lead basic setup and training for new users and handle complex user issues.

• New Entity Setup: Set-up new branch entities, liaise with external consultants on tax and regulatory implications, and manage the associated data migration.

• Strategic Initiatives: Assist in assessing and implementing bolt-ons, integrations (e.g., with CE/Power Platform), and explore the use of AI to drive automation and efficiency within the finance function.

REQUIRED SKILLS/WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU

• Strong BC Technical & Functional Expertise: Expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central, including functional configuration, finance modules, and understanding of the technical architecture (environments, extensions, integrations).

• System Governance & DevOps: Proven experience managing IT General Controls (ITGC) and familiarity with robust DevOps/ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) processes for D365 BC deployments.

• Administration/Ownership Focus: Strong experience in system administration, security management, data integrity, and environment ownership.

• Product Management Mindset: Experience owning a backlog, writing detailed user stories, and prioritising work based on business value.

• Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and experience with multi-company, multi-currency, intercompany, and financial reporting within BC.

• Problem Solving: Analytical, structured, and methodical approach with exemplary problem-solving abilities, particularly in troubleshooting complex BC issues.

• Communication & Management: Must possess strong relationship-building expertise to engage effectively with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical resources (especially third-party consultants)
