MRB administrator

Purpose: The MRB Administrator is responsible for managing the ensuring system documentation for nonconforming materials to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant disposition within the Material Review Board (MRB) process. This role serves as the central coordinator between Quality, Engineering, Production, and Procurement safeguard manufacturing quality by ensuring that all nonconforming material is properly documented, controlled for analysis, and dispositioned in accordance with procedures

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the end‑to‑end MRB workflow, ensuring timely disposition of nonconforming material.
• Schedule and facilitate MRB meetings with cross‑functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Production, Purchasing Team).
• Ensure all MRB decisions are agreed by MRB team members.
• Ensure Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) for completeness and accuracy into CQA.
• Ensure all stakeholders log NCR progress into quality management system (CQA) and maintain proper traceability.
• Coordinate with WHS, Quality and Production on segregation, labeling, and physical control of nonconforming material.
• Ensure accurate records of MRB dispositions, scrap, rework, returns, and concessions (if any)
• Update & maintain CAQ records with accuracy and data integrity.
• Communicate MRB decisions to Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Suppliers.
• Coordinate with Engineering to obtain rework/repair instructions or scrap decisions.

Requirements:
• Higher Nitec/Diploma in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Certification in Quality (e.g., ISO 9001) is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment.
• Preferably with experience in nonconformance handling, NCR processes, or MRB operations.
• Experience working with QMS documentation and quality reporting will be an advantage.

• Understanding of material segregation, labeling, and traceability controls.
• Familiarity with Baan & CAQ will be an advantage
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and measurement tools.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail for quality data maintenance.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple MRB cases simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Organized, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
