Mr D, a division of the Takealot.com Group, is looking for a highly talented Key Accounts Manager to join our team in Cape Town.

This position reports to the Head of Sales & Account Managers for Mr D.
Your Responsibilities will include:
• Cultivating and managing long term partnerships with key national restaurant brands
• Increasing business revenue from existing accounts by consulting with national partners and developing partner strategies. This will range from the optimisation of menus, to marketing collaborations.
• Implement strategies to drive profitability through pricing,commercial mix and partners utilisation of the Mr D Food Partner Advertising Program
• Provide national partners with weekly and monthly performance reports
• Coordinate selling efforts across the team to execute large scale onboarding of national partners
• Working cross-functionally within the business to optimise partnerships, leading all aspects internally and externally
• Monitor and analyse the performance of national partner-specific KPIs, preparing and presenting partner performance review meetings to the Mr D Food business
• Ensure national partners are kept accountable on all aspects of service delivery to Mr D Food customers by ensuring we always focus on continuous restaurant operational performance
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring clients satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop new sales strategies and advertising packages
Attributes required:
• Key Account or Account Management experience
• Strong knowledge of the restaurant industry
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Highly analytical
• A love for winning
• Enthusiasm for being a part of an entrepreneurial, start-up environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members within the organisation
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to create and deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
• Proven track record of exceeding targets
Qualifications:
• Proven track record of hitting goals and targets
• Competence in Excel
• Minimum 2 years account or key account management experience
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant other tertiary qualification
