Motor Repair Technician

Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in the build and repair of AC/DC motors and generators is seeking a skilled Motor Repair Technician with hands-on experience in teardown, inspection, and assembly of industrial electric motors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform teardown and assembly of AC/DC motors and generators
• Work on major motor brands including WEG, Toshiba, GE, NOV, Kato, Leroy-Somer, and Caterpillar
• Inspect and measure components using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete detailed inspection and assembly reports
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

Requirements:
Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in AC/DC motor repair (teardown and assembly)
• Experience working with industrial motor brands (WEG, Toshiba, GE, NOV, Kato, Leroy-Somer, Caterpillar preferred)
• Ability to accurately measure and inspect parts using micrometers and other tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to document work clearly and accurately

• Experience in a manufacturing or repair shop environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment

• Industrial/manufacturing setting
