We are currently searching for a seasoned Motor Garder Operator to join our team!
Qualifications:
At least 5 years' EXPERIENCE operating a Motor Grader Operator in heavy civil construction
Skilled in the operation, adjustment, and routine maintenance of motor graders
Solid understanding of grading techniques and construction processes
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and blueprints
Strong focus on safety and adherence to all safety standards and regulations
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and on different terrain types and at different project sites as needed
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Responsibilities
Operate motor graders with accuracy to achieve project specifications and blueprint requirements
Maintain a safe work environment by following all company and regulatory safety procedures
Conduct routine equipment checks, cleaning, and lubrication; promptly report any mechanical concerns
Ensure grading quality and compliance with project standards
Work collaboratively with operators, laborers, supervisors, and other crew members
Communicate effectively with project managers and supervisors to support efficient project progress
Follow all applicable regulations and industry best practices
Troubleshoot and address operational issues encountered during grading activities
Keep accurate daily records, including equipment inspections and work logs
