Role Purpose
This role exists to produce high-converting motion graphics and video ad creative across Chai Vision's brand portfolio. The Motion Designer brings static concepts to life through animation, kinetic typography, and video editing — building performance-driven assets for paid social channels while leveraging AI tools to push creative quality and output velocity.

You have a strong motion design background with hands-on experience producing video ads for paid social.
You understand pacing, visual storytelling, and how motion drives performance in direct-response advertising.
You are fluent in brand systems and can adapt your style across multiple distinct identities.
You are actively exploring AI-powered video and motion tools and incorporate them into your workflow.
You are organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable producing high volumes of creative under pressure.
You take direction well and iterate quickly based on performance data and creative feedback.
8. What You'll Do
Motion & Video Production
Design and animate motion graphics, video ads, and UGC-style content for paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Edit raw footage, voiceovers, and UGC clips into polished, brand-aligned video ads.
Produce creative variants (format, length, cut) to support A/B testing and performance optimization.
Build reusable motion templates and animated elements for team-wide use.
AI-Augmented Motion Design
Leverage AI video and motion tools (Runway, Pika, Adobe Sensei, ElevenLabs, etc.) to accelerate production and enhance creative output.
Develop AI-assisted workflows for tasks like background generation, voice synthesis, and scene extension.
Stay current on emerging AI motion tools and recommend integrations relevant to the creative team.
Brand & Strategy Alignment
Interpret creative briefs and bring direct-response ad angles to life through motion and video.
Collaborate closely with creative strategists and static designers to ensure visual and narrative consistency.
Contribute to brand motion guidelines and maintain a library of reusable branded assets.
Quality & Process
Deliver platform-optimized exports (correct aspect ratios, frame rates, file sizes).
Maintain organized project files, version control, and asset archives.
Participate in creative reviews and incorporate revision feedback efficiently.
9. Success Metrics
Consistent on-time delivery of motion assets across active campaigns.
Video creatives meet platform quality standards and brand guidelines.
Motion assets contribute to improved hook rates, view-through rates, and conversion performance.
High volume of test-ready video variants produced per campaign cycle.
Positive feedback from creative strategists and brand managers on execution quality and brief adherence.
10. Cross-Functional Relationships
Creative Strategists (for brief intake, script direction, and performance feedback).
Senior Static Designers (for asset handoffs and visual consistency across formats).
Brand Managers across LifePro, Petcove, Oaktiv, Culvani, and Joyberri (for brand alignment).
Paid Media team (for platform spec requirements and video campaign needs).
UGC Creators and video talent (for raw footage coordination).

Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
Figma (for motion handoff references)
AI motion/video tools (Runway, Pika, Adobe Firefly Video, ElevenLabs, or equivalent)

12. Accountability & Rhythm
Daily: Video asset production and revision delivery per active briefs.
Weekly: Creative review sessions and brief intake with strategists and editors.
Monthly: Motion performance review — hook rate, view-through, and video testing outcomes.
Quarterly: Brand motion audit, template library refresh, and AI tool evaluation.
