The Mortgage Pre‑Approval Coordinator provides critical administrative and analytical support to the Pre‑Approval Manager. This role ensures that borrower files are complete, organized, and ready for review to support an efficient pre‑approval process. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
Responsibilities
● Organize, track, and maintain borrower documentation (IDs, income documents, bank statements, tax returns, etc.).
● Prepare and update spreadsheets used for income, assets, and liability reviews.
● Assist in preliminary data entry into the loan origination system (LOS).
● Review documents for completeness and follow up with borrowers when additional items are needed.
● Draft clear, professional emails to borrowers, agents, and internal team members.
● Maintain an organized pipeline of pre‑approval files and ensure timely movement of each case.
● Support the Pre‑Approval Manager with administrative tasks, scheduling, and file preparation.
● Ensure all documents are properly named, stored, and version‑controlled.
● Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the pre‑approval workflow.
Qualifications
● At least 2 years of US Mortgage experience handling administrative support functions (processing, underwriting support, loan officer assistant, or similar)
● Strong numerical skills and comfort working with spreadsheets
● Excellent written English communication
● Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple files simultaneously
● Tech‑savvy and comfortable navigating digital tools, shared drives, and workflow systems.
● Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and follow‑through
● Flexibility to work on the night shift to support US client
● Must be based in the Philippines
Salary range: USD 6-7/hr (Php 58-71k/month) with HMO, Paid Time Off/Leaves
