Today the GVF Group is comprised of seven divisions: Grand Valley Fortifiers, Fortified Nutrition, Farmers Depot, Direct Source Commodities, Valley Feeds, True Foods and On Farm Business Intelligence.
Ours is a family business that cares about its employees and its community. We make sure that all our staff get what the best-in-class team members deserve: benefits, good wages, and respect. Whether through our charitable work, or our dedication to staff, GVF is committed to living out our principles and values.
Why we have this role:
Are you a strategic sales leader with deep roots in livestock production? Do you thrive in the field, working directly with producers to drive measurable improvements in animal health, performance, and profitability?
We’re looking for a Monogastric Key Account Manager to lead and grow high-value customer relationships across Ontario, with a primary focus on swine (70%) and a growing opportunity in poultry (30%).
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to progressive producers, delivering innovative solutions that improve biosecurity, feed efficiency, and overall production outcomes. You’ll work at the intersection of animal health, on-farm performance, and commercial strategy, helping customers achieve better results while contributing to more sustainable production systems.
Working with us:
While much of your work will be performed independently at customer farms, you will be part of a collaborative team that includes a network of technical specialists, customer service teams, and sales professionals, all working together to generate leads and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. You will also collaborate with an extended network of sales professionals representing Grand Valley Fortifiers’ feed and nutrition premix portfolio.
Due to the nature of this role, you must reside in Southwestern Ontario and be willing to travel extensively throughout your assigned region. Travel will include regular customer visits, including occasional overnight stays, and attendance at company-wide sales meetings, training sessions, and events as required. Periodic travel within North America may also be required. This position is home-based and is a permanent, full-time role.
What you’ll do:
Build and grow strategic relationships with key swine and poultry producers across Ontario.
Drive sales and adoption of Schippers hygiene, biosecurity, and water quality solutions, delivering measurable improvements in animal health and production performance.
Act as a subject matter expert on Schippers products and programs, demonstrating their value through on-farm application and results.

Lead territory planning, prospecting, and account development to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Collaborate cross-functionally with nutrition, sales, and technical teams to deliver a full-solution approach.
Support and develop reseller (sub-dealer) networks through training, product knowledge, and sales enablement on Schippers offerings.
Represent the business and Schippers brand at industry events, strengthening market presence and generating new opportunities.
Your background includes:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in livestock production, animal health, agricultural sales, or a related field.
Strong background in swine production (poultry exposure is an asset).
Proven success in key account management, strategic sales, or advisory roles within agriculture or livestock production.
Ability to influence and build credibility with producers, integrators, and industry stakeholders.
Commercial mindset with the ability to clearly communicate ROI and value-based solutions.
Highly self-driven, organized, and comfortable managing a large geographic territory.
Passion for improving livestock production systems and delivering measurable on-farm results.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across Ontario, including occasional overnight travel.
