Three years in, we've reached 15 million users across Europe and are growing fast. Revenue is scaling, our product is maturing, and we're now looking for the right expert to take our monetization to the next level.

THE ROLE

As our Monetization Manager, you'll own the strategy and execution behind how Macadam generates revenue through advertising, offerwalls, and surveys - without compromising the experience that keeps millions of users coming back every day.

You'll work at the intersection of data, product, and partnerships, making smart decisions that balance monetization performance with user respect.

This role is part of the Revenue team, based in Barcelona.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own the ad stack. Manage our ad networks (AppLovin MAX, AdMob, Meta AN) : waterfalls, floor prices, in-app bidding.

Take charge of offerwalls & surveys. Manage and optimise our offerwall and survey integrations to maximise revenue and completion rates.

Run the numbers. Track eCPM, fill rate, ARPDAU, offerwall conversion, and survey completion. Turn data into clear actions.

Test relentlessly. A/B test formats, placements, frequencies, and triggers to find the right balance between revenue and retention.

Shape the experience. Work with product to make sure every monetization format (ads, offerwalls, surveys) feels earned, not forced.

Manage partnerships. Negotiate with ad networks, offerwall and survey providers.

Stay compliant. Keep up with ATT, GDPR, and platform policies. Flag brand safety and fraud signals early.

Use AI tools to move faster and spot patterns others miss.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Solid experience in app monetization (ads, offerwalls, surveys), ideally from a mobile gaming studio or gaming-adjacent app where rewarded and engagement-driven formats were core to the business.

Hands-on knowledge of in-app bidding and mediation platforms (MAX, LevelPlay, AdMob, or similar), plus familiarity with offerwall or survey platforms.

A track record you can quantify - eCPM improvements, fill rate gains, ARPDAU impact, offerwall or survey revenue contributions.

Strong analytical skills: experience with BI tools like Metabase, Mixpanel, Looker, Tableau, or SQL.

A product sensibility - you understand that great monetization doesn't feel like monetization.

Excellent communication skills in English, and a collaborative mindset in a fast-moving team.
