Join the CrowdGen Team as an Independent Contractor for a Voice Recording Project!

This project focuses on improving speech recognition technology by collecting short voice recordings in native languages. Your contributions will help train AI systems to better understand natural speech patterns and improve voice-enabled applications used worldwide.

As a participant, your role is to record short, scripted commands written in your native language using your smartphone. These recordings will support the development of more accurate and inclusive language technologies.

As a contributor, your key responsibilities will include:

✦ Recording short scripted prompts clearly and accurately
✦ Following provided recording guidelines and instructions
✦ Ensuring high audio quality during recordings
✦ Completing assigned recording sessions within the required timeframe
✦ Maintaining quality standards for prompt acceptance

Requirements:

✔ Native speaker of Egyptian Arabic
✔ Currently residing in Egypt
✔ Must be 18 years old or above
✔ Must have a smartphone compatible with the Appen Mobile app
✔ Ability to carefully follow instructions and quality standards

Project Details:

Task:
Record short, scripted commands written in your native language.

Duration:
The entire task can be completed in approximately 1–2 hours, including time to review the guidelines.

Payment Details:

• Payment is provided upon full completion of a recording session (500 prompts)
• At least 90% of prompts must pass quality review for compensation eligibility
• Incomplete sessions will not be compensated
• Sessions receiving a QA score below 90% will be considered rejected and unpaid

Important Note:

This project follows a first-come, first-served model and operates using demographic quotas to ensure fair and balanced participant representation.

As a result, task assignments may no longer be available once demographic quotas are filled. This approach helps maintain diversity and avoid over-representation across participant groups.
