JOB PURPOSE

The Neuropsychologist (PC01) is responsible for providing neuropsychological services to a variety of referral source.

QUALIFICATIONS

Doctoral degree (PHD or PsyD) in Neuropsychology or in Clinical Psychology with training in Neuropsychology.
Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Psychologist with the New Brunswick College of Psychologists.
Two years of experience and expertise in the area of Neuropsychology.
Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
Ability to perform the duties of the position.
Good work record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Psychologist is responsible for:

Performing neuropsychological assessments and differential diagnosis.
Providing consultation to other health care professionals.
Maintaining clinical records and documentation.
Participating in interdisciplinary care planning.
Preparing and presenting information and education sessions.
Supervising and overseeing the work of psychometrists, residents in psychology or students.
Participating in developing, maintaining and evaluating policies and procedures.
