The role

The Senior Assistant, Document Automation Services & Innovation, supports the technical development, maintenance, and delivery of document automation solutions across the firm. Working under the direction of the Product Manager this role focuses on hands-on configuration, testing, support, and continuous improvement of automated documents, while contributing to innovation initiatives.

 

Who you will work with

You will work closely with the Product Manager, Document Automation, the Technical Lead, Document Automation Services & Innovation, legal teams (primarily Finance), and client technical teams.

 

What you will be responsible for

Supporting the development, maintenance, testing, and support of document automation templates built using TR Contract Express.

 

What you will do

Technical Delivery & Support

• Assist in technical development and configuration of document automation templates.

• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

• Support secure handling of automated documents and data.

• Collaborate with legal teams to optimise document workflows.

System & Platform Support

• Support implementation and maintenance of document automation platforms.

• Assist with updates, enhancements, and lifecycle management.

• Help ensure systems are user-friendly, accessible, and secure.

Project Support

• Support document automation and innovation projects.

• Track assigned tasks and escalate risks or issues.

• Assist with preparation of project updates and materials.

Training & Knowledge Support

• Provide first-line user support.

• Assist in creating and maintaining user guides, FAQs, and documentation.

• Support training and onboarding activities.

 

Your experience

• Educated in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience in a technical or systems support role.

• Familiarity with document automation tools (TR Contract Express preferred).

• Understanding of legal processes and workflows.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
