The role

As a Mobile Technical Architect, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 10 to 12 YEARS of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

Overwiew:

We are looking for a technical leader with strong consultancy and communication skills focused on end-to-end mobile solutions (Flutter-first with native iOS/Android integration), the success and sustainability/reliability of those apps, cross-cutting mobile concerns, and guiding teams and clients toward the right outcomes.

Expertise is primarily concentrated on the mobile platform domain.

A Mobile Architect who quickly earns client trust brings clear authority, calm presence, and a proactive drive toward outcomes. They set direction early, communicate decisions and trade-offs plainly, and collaborate across product, design, and engineering to keep everyone aligned. They’re visible and available to the client, meaning no silos, showing up in the moments that matter to clarify scope, de-risk assumptions, and keep momentum. Their communication is crisp and empathetic; they listen first and turn ambiguity into an agreed plan of action. As a facilitator, they create the conditions for good decisions.They ask the right questions, surface constraints and commercial realities, and frame options with explicit impacts on time, cost, risk, and user value. Their credibility comes from relevant, demonstrable experience, being able to point to prior outcomes and lessons learned rather than from theory. They are defining the problem, shaping the approach, guiding teams through trade-offs, and driving change through to measurable results, rather than waiting for tickets.

Role responsibilities :

• Guiding teams back to the problem space before jumping into solutions, ensuring solutions are viable, relevant, and thought through.

• Proactively influences and guides how we make decisions, the principles and practices we adopt, how we identify and manage complexity, risk, technical change management, and dependencies.

• Facilitating collaboration and ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Balancing long-term architectural vision with immediate delivery needs, ensuring sustainable solutions.

• Engaging with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to promote architectural clarity and adoption.

• Mentoring developers, fostering technical excellence, and good practices across the team.

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Defines and coordinates adherence to architectural principles, facilitating pragmatic decisions through communication of trade-offs against design goals that align with both technical and business goals.

• Guides teams to ensure software is being designed to meet best practices and ensures key NFRs (maintainability, performance, scalability, and security ), and ensures a strategy is in place to validate those NFRs.

• Provides expert consultancy and specialist advice by taking responsibility for engaging with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives, competing constraints, and providing informed architectural guidance. Ensures options are well communicated, and teams and key stakeholders understand the impact.

• Acts as a subject matter expert in Mobile application architecture and development (with a focus on Flutter). Proactively offers insights into best practices and emerging trends.

• Paves the way for teams by avoiding unnecessary tech debt, identifying complexity and risk early, and determining which decisions can be deferred until later, ensuring smooth and effective software delivery.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
